 Road Assistance is run in close partnership between
the police, the City of Stockholm and the Swedish Road
Administration. Trafik Stockholm has been assigned the day-to-day
management task.
The “Road Assistance” vehicles receive
directions from the operators at Trafik Stockholm to be able to
provide fast assistance at minor breakdowns, provide petrol for
empty tanks and remove hazardous objects lying on the road. Fewer
disruptions causing congestion also reduces the risk of an accident.

| If a car is standing still on
the road because it has run out of fuel, or for any other
reason, it can be removed within a few minutes thanks to the
joint action between the "Road Assistance" team and
ourselves. |
