The operations centre receives reports and questions that
concern streets and public squares in Stockholm City. Its
function is to improve service to the general public, the
business community and others with a vested interest in the
city.
During all hours of a 24-hour day we receive and forward
alarm and breakdown reports, answer queries, are responsible
for traffic information on the city street network and
provide support to contractors in connection with both
winter road maintenance as well as maintenance and
operations works.

We receive about 210 000 calls a year and each report is
registered and duly forwarded. The calls can concern refuse
collection, snow clearance, traffic signals, street
lighting, damages on roads and streets, public toilets,
flooding, damaged trees, parking metres, lifts and
escalators, taking care of injured animals, etc. Breakdown
reports are distributed immediately to contractors and/or
the principal. We have also been handling graffiti removal
since 2005.
